Beautiful home with stunning lake views

The Room & House:
Available is a comfortable, fully furnished double room in Morningside, a charming 1940s home in an enviable location.

The bedroom includes a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk, and shelving. The room has amazing views over the lake. You will also have access to a large bathroom which is shared but has light use as I have an en-suite. (Items can be left in the room over the weekend and bikes etc left in the garage etc)

The house offers plenty of space, featuring a large kitchen/diner and two living rooms. The smaller one functions as my boys playroom for the two weekday evenings he is here, meaning the main living room is great for relaxing - we have a prime video/netflix subscription and a nice stereo in the living room for hi-res music streaming.

The kitchen/dinner is open planned and has the usual ammenities inc dishwasher. Off the kitchen, there is a dedicated utility room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and freezer etc.

There are sitting areas within front and back gardens with the front garden offering amazing views of the lake.

The Location & Lifestyle:
If you love the outdoors, this location is perfect. The house boasts amazing views directly over Hooe Lake, perfect for nature watching and offering instant access for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding etc.

Beaches & Transport:
Under a 10-minute walk to the beaches at Jennycliff and Mount Batten. The Mount Batten ferry is also a short walk away, taking you directly into the Plymouth Barbican. There are regular buses directly to plymouth city centre and universities plus onward links to Derriford hospital and the dockyard. There is a private parking space directly outside the house and space in the garage for bikes etc if required.

Amenities:
A convenience store, Chinese takeaway, and Indian takeaway are all within a two-minute walk.

Social:
There are five local pubs, alongside several excellent cafes and eateries right on your doorstep.

The Housemates:
You will be sharing with me, I am a working professional who splits time between working from home and the office. I live with my 9-year-old son, who stays on Monday and Tuesday weekday nights only. We are out at activities both of those evenings, so the house is very quiet. We then have a set bedtime routine and our evenings are relaxed when at home.

This is a friendly, and clean home looking for a female preferred respectful housemate to fit in with our relaxed quiet routine.
