Two retired dogs onsite - low key, friendly. Dogs do not go upstairs. Landlord couple is professional 50s with grown up children.
Shared large kitchen/diner with Aga for cooking and wood burning stove for dining area. Landlord has separate living room, so this area available for lodgers to use as shared space.
There is only an Aga available for cooking. This may require you to change the way you do some of your cooking - more in the oven, less on the hob.
Three rooms used for lodgers (inc this one). 7 bedrooms total. Adult children and other visitors occasionally. Landlords work from home in separate office rooms.
10 mins walk to pub (Castle Inn), also to Venn Valley vineyard licensed cafe. On the 155 bus route to Barnstaple or South Molton
Feedback from viewings so far is that everyone likes the rooms, the house and the garden, but own transport is really needed given the basic bus service..
This room is big enough to accommodate a couple. However, it expected that both will be working and out of the house during the working day. This house is totally unsuitable for children. No children allowed.
