Shepherd's Hut living

An extraordinary opportunity to live for a few months in a Shepherd's Hut. Set in an orchard on a farm this hut is emersed in nature. With a beautiful living area and spectacular views from your decking balcony. The kitchen and bathroom are a very short walk away from the hut but for sole use occupants. There is a strong 4G signal, so you can use mobile tethering for a lap top. The area is completely self contained.

You will share a double parking space with one other car.

Occupant must be happy to walk to and from kitchen and bathroom in all weather. Couples are allowed at a rate of £900/month.

The kitchen is a separate area with oven with ring top, fridge, sink, wall heater, storage and a kitchen table. This space is big enough to act as a separate space to relax/work.

The bathroom is next to the kitchen and has a shower, toilet and sink.

As the hut is on a farm, you will need to be comfortable with a dog, a number of cats, and chickens/cockerels (and insects) that may pop up now and then. You will hear the birds, owls, dogs, cows and cockerells too. You will not have access to the farm yard or farm buildings. We are looking for someone who wants a break from the norm and happy in nature.

Great rural location for accessing walks and 5-10 mins drive from Wonwell and Bigbury beach.

Myself and my family (partner and young 2 boys ) live next door. I can see your kitchen door from my kitchen but your hut is in an enclosed orchard and very private.

There is also no washing machine so you will need to use a laundrette.

This space would suit a professional person, on a temporary contract in the area, looking for a beautiful and peaceful space while not at work.
Someone who would prefer comfortable glamping living to hotel living.

No council tax to pay. Electricity is not included in the rent.
