Peaceful room in large, shared Victorian home

My lovely, peaceful home has unused space now the family has grown up! A single room is available during the week to a professional, working person who needs to be in Barnstaple Monday - Friday but is based elsewhere. Occasional weekend stays can possibly be arranged. I work from home and ideally, I am looking for someone who is out during the day and who just needs a central, comfortable base to come back to in the evenings. The rate which is fully inclusive of bills is £120 pw for up to 4 nights.

The room was fully refurbished recently, including a new carpet. It is quietly located on the first floor at the back of the house, next to the bathroom with a walk in shower.

Use of the kitchen to make breakfast and to prepare a light meal in the evening if needed. Good broadband, central heating and all bills included.

Parking is free on-street and although it can be tricky at busy times, it is always possible to find a space! The town centre and bus station are a flat, 8 min walk away and the local park is 4 mins. House is handy for all the main shops, bars, restaurants and cinema plus a Spar convenience store, pub and the takeaways of Newport are very close by.

The house is attractive and comfortable and affords all occupants privacy. It is very well located and friends often comment on the nice atmosphere!

I’m happy with short or long stays, though as the advert notes, unfortunately the room is not generally available at weekends and this is reflected in the price.
