A furnished double bedroom will be available in a small, friendly shared house located just 9 minutes’ walk from the mainline railway station and 7 minutes from the town centre.
We are looking for a calm and considerate individual who will respect the house and its occupants, particularly as one of us works NHS shift patterns and may be sleeping during the day.
This is a home, not just a rental, so finding the right fit and fostering mutual respect is important to us.
Key Details:
• Parking: On-street parking in the local area, immediate streets are unfortunately permit controlled.
• Shared Facilities: Includes a sitting room, kitchen, and bathroom.
• Utilities Included: Rent covers all reasonable use of utilities, including a washing machine, kitchen appliances, and fibre broadband.
• LGB-Friendly Household.
The room will be furnished with a double bed, new mattress, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. It will be redecorated in January and available for viewings from February onwards.
Deposit will be held in the Government's Tenancy Deposit Scheme and a tenant credit check will be carried out.
My existing lodger of 6 years will be moving out late December 2025, room will be freshly painted with new bed and mattress.
