Storage: the bedroom has room for under-bed storage, chest of x3 large drawers, hanging rail/wardrobe & 5 sturdy over-door hooks for hanging coats etc. Plus a lift-up-lid bedside table (could be replaced with higher table and a chair if needed for studying).
Limited attic space available on request to store some personal belongings
(2-3 medium sized boxes/suitcases max).

Semi-shared bathroom but sole use of the toilet, sink & mirrored wall cabinet for toiletries/makeup. 3 sturdy over-door hooks for hanging towels/bath robe so no need to keep in the bedroom.
I have my own en-suite shower with toilet & sink so would only use the bath occasionally (bath has a shower-head too).

There is also a separate downstairs loo.

Shared use of kitchen with 4 ring gas hob & oven/grill, double air fryer, slow cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and A+ rating washing machine with a range of cycles, including a quick wash cycle.
The kitchen has a dining/living area attached with table & chairs for dining plus a 3 seater sofa for relaxing.

All bills included.
Broadband with unlimited streaming/downloads and WiFi.

Successful applicant will need to apply and pay for their own TV licence as I don’t watch live TV and I kindly ask that they please use headphones after 10pm to listen to music/watch TV/use laptop etc.

Gas central heating (thermostats both upstairs and downstairs) so house is always warm & dry with double glazing.
Council Tax Band C.

Private allocated off-street parking space available if required and garden is south-west facing so does get decent amount of sun! Enough outside space to work out, do yoga/pilates etc.
Please note that there is no secure lockup for a bicycle and will not be able to keep one inside the house I’m afraid.

Okehampton has a great rail link to Exeter
(40 mins which go on the hour):
£4.40 for single ticket
£8.80 for open return
25 minute drive to Exeter, Launceston or Tavistock.
As well as bus routes all over Devon.

Only 5 mins drive to Dartmoor or Abbeyford Woods.
Simmons Park in town centre is beautiful with a great cafe and offers a range of sports, including outdoor tennis courts and Sunday fun runs!

There are 3 gyms in Okehampton (one with a swimming pool) with a range of classes available.

The town centre is a 20 minute walk from the property and has a multitude of local shops, charity shops, cafes, pubs/inns (including a Wetherspoons) & eateries, including various takeaways.
Post Office with Evri shop too for sending/receiving parcels.
Several cash points as well as a Lloyds Bank.
We also have Dartmoor Museum, Okehampton library, a book store, a Carlton cinema, Okement Community Centre, DIY shop, several hairdressers/barbers, beauty salons and much more, including The Manor House Hotel on the outskirts of town which has a thermal spa and swimming pools!

There is a Lidl, Waitrose and Co-Op for food shops as well as a Cost-Cutter and Budgens with late opening hours.
Also 2 fuel garages on outskirts of the town near the A30 Okehampton exit (one is 24 hrs) as well as various garages for MOTs and servicing vehicles.

Please note that I have a (very friendly) female medium-sized dog called Luna and corn snake called Fenna.
