Salisbury Road is a well-kept, clean house with a caring and approachable landlord. I bought the house twelve years ago after retiring from teaching in London and in that time the house has been full each year with most of the students choosing to stay for a second/third year.
Salisbury Road is a 15-minute walk away from the University. There is a lovely park at the end of the road, a Co-op close by as well as Plymouth town centre.
The house was rated as Grade A by Plymouth University, but unfortunately, they chose to stop advertising private landlords a few years ago - so here’s my advert 😊
The house is registered as an HMO with Plymouth City Council and has all the legally required safety certificates.
Lots of agents and landlords make all sorts of promises to their tenants but all too often, don’t deliver. I will always call in to the house the very next day to solve any problem that may occur. If I can’t sort it out, I’ll get someone who can. That’s because I care. I will be helpful in any way I can.
Below are some comments, made on cards and by texts when students have moved out. I promise you that they are all genuine and can show you or send photos of the originals. You could even contact the students to ask them personally if you want 😊
