1 double room to rent in a large period Victorian house. £290 per calendar month, (equivalent to £67 per week). This room is available from 1st June 2021, but may be available sooner.

The room is furnished, with a wardrobe, drawers and double bed. Address is 78 Wilton Street, Plymouth PL1 5LU. The rent includes most bills, including TV licence, water rates, council tax and broadband, the only additional outlay is electric & gas on a key (£15 per month for each). The deposit is only £150.

The house has got a communal lounge with satellite TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine and numerous fridge freezers, plus plenty of private cupboard space.

There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, shower and toilet, the other with just a shower and toilet. The entire house is double glazed and has full gas central heating with a new energy efficient boiler. There are no parking restrictions on the road, so plenty of free parking. Wifi is included for free and is 200MB/s super fast fibre-optic.

The communal areas (lounge, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen) are cleaned twice a month by a professional cleaning company - this is included in the price of the rent. The house is walking distance to town (5 mins), the university (10 mins) and Mutley (15 mins).

Please note, I never rent to undergraduate students or couples. I only rent to working professionals or mature students. It is also important to realise that this is a quiet house, with some housemates working shifts and nights. Please only get in touch if you are a quiet person - this is not a party house!

Large pets (e. g. dogs and cats) are not permitted, although smaller pets may be allowed, at landlord's discretion. I do not rent to anyone under 23, but there is no upper age limit. I do not live at the property.

Please note: Smoking is not permitted inside the house. There is a smoking room provided in the back garden for those that do wish to smoke.
