I'm leaving university and looking for someone to take over my tenancy in a six-bedroom student house on Salisbury Road, Plymouth. It’s a short walk to Plymouth University, right by Beaumont Park, Ebrington Street, and Drake Circus. Aldi and other low-cost grocery options are also close by.

The room is available from 1st September 2025. The minimum contract term is 10 months. Rent is £125 per week with all bills included (gas, electricity, water, high-speed fibre broadband, and TV licence). The deposit is £200.

The house is fully furnished and includes large double bedrooms, all carpeted upstairs. There are two shared bathrooms, a separate toilet, and a decent-sized kitchen with a ceramic hob, fan oven, undercounter fridges, integrated freezer, washer/dryer, and breakfast bar. The shared living room has a sofa and a 43" Samsung HD smart TV. The property also has a back garden with raised decking that catches the afternoon sun — perfect for barbecues.

Current housemates are five university students, aged between 18 and 21. There are five guys and one girl. Everyone is sociable, friendly, and respectful. Ideally, the new tenant would be another student in a similar age range. No pets or smoking currently in the house.

The location is ideal for students — just a few minutes’ walk through Beaumont Park to the university campus. You’ll also be near independent shops, bars, and cafés on Ebrington Street, plus Drake Circus for anything else you need.
