Bright well-appointed single room in friendly home

We have a single room in our 4-person house available for a working professional for short or long-term rent. The room has good drawer and under-bed storage, and there is hanging space in a cupboard directly outside the bedroom if needed. You and one other occupant will share a bathroom. Our home is in a quiet road with on-street-parking at the end of St. Judes. Tothill park runs across the bottom of the road, and the city centre, River Plym, Mount Gould Hospital and Saltram are all within walking distance. There is a bus stop at the top of the road which goes to Royal Parade for ongoing travel; or a short walk to Exeter Street or Embankment Road affords bus services to Plympton, Plymstock and Derriford.

We are looking for somebody to share our home and values. It would be our ideal that like us you love to cook (or want to learn how) and would enjoy eating meals together; meaning one less task for you as we will take care of the shopping! (financial contribution towards food to be discussed). Wayne (Landlord 1) is a chef and particularly enjoys cooking with spice.

Sally (Landlord 2), is a Life Coach and her clients come to the house. The room, therefore, is not suitable for anyone needing to work from home or sleep during the day. If you share our Community value, you will appreciate our extended family who visit regularly. We need you to love dogs as we have 2. Both are ground-floor trained so will not encroach on your private upstairs space. We are not big drinkers (occasional glass of wine/beer) and we want our home to remain recreational drug free (smoking/vaping in the garden only) Lastly, if you like to play your music loudly then this will not be the house for you.
