Spacious Double Room Available in Family Home

We’re looking for an easy-going lodger to join our home and make the most of a comfortable double bedroom on the ground floor. The lodgers’ space comes with its own shower room, plus a cosy living room and kitchen, shared with only one other existing lodger - giving you plenty of privacy alongside the shared family atmosphere.

The room is £500 per month, with all bills included – utilities, council tax, TV licence and broadband are all covered, so there are no hidden extras to worry about.

The shower room is for lodgers’ use only, and the kitchen and living room are separate from our main family space. The garden is shared, available to all, with access through the lodgers’ living area.

We’re a lively, welcoming household: Hazel (a student nurse), Joe (who works in the city centre), and our two young children, aged 3 and 5. Life here is full of the usual family hustle and bustle – the house is busy in the mornings but peaceful again by the evening. For that reason, the rooms would suit someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and is happy to share a home with family life happening in the background.

Our other lodger, James, works in education in the city centre.

We do have two cats, Oreo and Galaxy, so unfortunately we wouldn't be able to accept pets.
