Description
If you are 25 years old or over, do not smoke and are happy that this is an alcohol free house then this place could be suitable for you.
I have a lovely bright clean room in a really quiet part of town close to Victoria Park. It has a big double bed , with memory foam mattress and solid wood floors. There is a desk and chair in the room and storage places and shelving to hang and store clothes.
The cost of this room is £280. 00
To move in you will need to pay £560. 00 (1 month rent + 1 month deposit)
Utility bills are extra and are approximately between £30-£45 per month (depending on the season-winter or summer and your usage)
Council tax is £34. 00 per month if you need to pay council tax.
The house has a kitchen with washing machine, dish washer, fridge freezer, oven and microwave, and plenty of storage. Shared bathroom with nice shower, and there is an extra toilet on the first floor.
There is a beautiful terrace area for barbeques, or just lazing around in, with a couple of points for hanging hammocks....I like making this space more tranquil...with lots of plants and growing some vegetables. I have a keen interest in looking after the environment. If you do too that would be great. Or you could store a bicycle there.
It is a bit of a spiritual oasis. I am a vegetarian (but feel free to cook meat) and do not drink alcohol, in fact the house is an alcohol free space, which may suit certain people. Individual rooms are for single occupants only.
The shared living space is a meditation/yoga/reading/quiet space rather than a regular living room. There is also a small dining/study/artist/plant area/ It is like a mini conservatory and has direct access to the garden.
The house is only 2 minutes walk from Victoria Park, 10 minutes to Plymouth Train Station, 15 minutes from the university and the University Dental Institute (all walking, so if you have a bike or car it is much quicker). There is on street parking outside the house and regular buses to city centre and Cornwall.
There is wireless broadband included in the price. There is no TV, so if you need a TV you would need to pay the licence.
One of the great things for you is that I am only in the house 3 days every two weeks, so there is lots of free space.
Mature students preferred, however yogis, Buddhists, environmentalists, artists, designers, and creative spiritual types all welcome.
Of course we would need to respect each others space, and keep the place clean.
Check the description of the house before you contact me to make sure it is somewhere you would like to live.
When contacting me please explain why my house would be suitable for you and you would be suitable for my house.
Please contact me to view the place. Calling or texting will get a quicker response.
Thanks
Jason
