Welcome to a homely and newly decorated flat in Seaton, Devon. Currently occupied by one flatmate (female, mid-twenties, professional) and myself (female, mainly live-out, but pop back occasionally to catch up with friends, flatmate etc)
It’s a quirky 1940’s flat tucked away behind an orchard just minutes walk from the town and seafront.
There is a large car park at the end of the drive, with reasonable residents permits. Alternatively there is off street parking not far away.
A large real Christmas tree, lots of Xmas movies and decorations are part of the deal - so you must enjoy Christmas!
I have recently relocated to London for work and I pop back occasionally, using a small single room, but am looking for the right person to take it back to a two-person let for the majority of the time.
It is a double room, with a glimpse of the sea. The flat has been recently renovated and there are a few bits of DIY in the flat still waiting to happen, should be completed by end of January. All bills and council tax included (apart from parking permits from East Devon Council)
We have good Wi-Fi, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, bath, shower, microwave, storage areas, lots of tv services and a small garden at the back (currently just a bramble patch sadly). The room comes with a wardrobe, two bedside drawers, lots of sockets, a double bed and can be rearranged.
Shared lounge, kitchen, bathroom, storage cupboards and a downstairs porch
No smoking, no drugs, no pets (allergies) but plenty of friendly cats nearby.
Vibe is generally chilled with laughter and lots of tea. Interests include film nights, board games, cooking, evening walks, sea swimming, paddle boarding, rugby and friends. It’s not much of a party flat (we like our sleep too much!) but do enjoy friends coming round, and the odd drinks night.
