There are high ceilings throughout, plenty of natural light, and direct access to our beautiful gardens, themselves set within our 12 acre smallholding.

Also included: off-road parking (up to two vehicles), access to a barn/workshop for DIY or project work, access to farm or garden land for vegetable growing etc., fast broadband internet, and all bills included (heating, electricity, water, council tax, internet).

-- Who we’re looking for:

We’re open to a single person, a couple, or a parent with a young child (to be discussed). We welcome someone who values peaceful rural living, respects shared spaces, and enjoys the flexibility of having a home base with access to workshop and garden areas. Someone interested in having their own plot for gardening or vegetable growing would be most welcome. Pets are allowed by arrangement.

-- Living with us:

We are a couple, only recently moved into the property ourselves. We have a love of nature and intend to run the smallholding as a business. You will share the main house’s kitchen & scullery — so tidy, considerate living is essential. The setting is tranquil and beautiful: the village of Shobrooke is highly desirable, with Crediton’s amenities just five minutes away by car, plus wonderful walking paths and countryside with exquisite views right on the doorstep.
