Small double room in rural village

Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m looking for a lodger in my cottage in Silverton. I like for the house to have a comfortable and homey feel, so someone who is friendly, easy going and tidy is a must.

The room is a small double room, with a brand new mattress and bed frame, single wardrobe and small chest of drawers. There’s a shed if you need bike/surfboard storage. Rent is inclusive of all bills incl. fibre broadband.

The rest of the house is quite roomy - there’s bathroom with a shower and extra toilet downstairs, a large living area, kitchen with a pantry, sun room and big garden which is great for a BBQ. There’s on street parking available. The village is 20 mins from Exeter and would likely suit someone with a car.

You’ll be sharing the house with myself and my dog Buffy, a collie cross. She loves running, walking and trips to the pub if you ever want to take her out.

I work as a marine biologist and during summer I’m frequently away surveying so you’d have the house to yourself. I work from home when I’m not away, so it wouldn’t really be suited to someone who regularly works from home. About me … I’m quite active - I like cycling, CrossFit, running. I’m often diving and enjoy weekends away camping or cycle tours.
