On two levels and in part of a well-maintained Victorian property, the apartment is set back off a quiet tree-lined road. The bus stop is only a minute away and there is also generous on-road parking.
On the first floor is your clean, bright and spacious double ensuite room which looks out onto a wooded area and captures the morning sun. The ensuite has a toilet, washbasin and an electric shower. There is one other bedroom on this floor, which uses the downstairs bathroom.
On the ground floor, is the large and well-equipped family kitchen with a modern washing machine and tumble dryer, and a comfortable lounge, with open views across the valley. My daughter works from home in the lounge, two days a week.
We have gas central heating, which is on for a couple of hours in the morning and about four hours in the evening, depending on the weather/season.
There is a TV in the lounge, and you are welcome to have one in your room. We just ask for consideration noise wise, as there is a bedroom underneath your bedroom.
Outside there are two private patios, which are very sunny in the summer, with a lovely, wooded outlook across the valley. There is also a rotary washing line outside.
Our home is not suitable for regular party animals or night / shift workers / people who are likely to be noisy before 6am or after 10pm. And you must like cats - just the one! We love all animals but sadly cannot take in a dog as no cordoned-off garden.
