Double room to rent in warm and cosy family home

A quiet, comfortable and welcoming home looking for a tidy and friendly female lodger to share our peaceful space in Torquay, about a mile from Torbay Hospital - ideal for NHS staff or other professionals seeking a calm and convenient base.

We’re looking specifically for a woman, as my daughters would feel more comfortable sharing the home with another female.

The room is a cosy double, furnished with a bed with 2 accessible under-bed drawers and a large wardrobe, overlooking a pleasant green. You’ll share the family bathroom (with my daughter, 21, who works but also stays at her mother's some of the time), and have full use of the kitchen, dining room, lounge, garden, and fast WiFi. We also have a weekly cleaner, and there’s on-street parking available and also off-road parking on request.

I work from home and my adult daughter and I value a relaxed and respectful environment. We are also visited regularly by my 18 year old daughter. We’re looking for someone warm, reliable, and happy to treat the space like home.

➡️ All bills included (electric/gas, water, council tax, weekly cleaner, WiFi, and Netflix)

➡️ Deposit: £500, refundable subject to damage/excessive cleaning

➡️ 1-month rolling trial period

➡️ 28 days’ notice from either side
