A friendly older person with reduced mobility and hearing is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from the company and friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight. They are still independent, but would also appreciate a little practical help such as picking up shopping, cooking a few meals each week, carrying things and help with light household chores.

The accommodation on offer is good sized bedroom which is furnished with two single beds, and own bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen and sitting room. The flat is on the ground floor and there is parking available if required.

The property is located 1 mile from Totnes train station in a development on the River Dart, and well placed for the town centre and shops.

The person’s interests include crosswords, jigsaws, puzzles.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker.
