Serene double bedroom in Totnes house share

I will be subletting my room 7 mins walk from Totnes high street from 1 feb - 31 march roughly (dates flexible). It is a super serene and much loved retreat and I hope whoever stays here finds it as rejuvenating as I do. The room is furnished with antiques, organic cotton, chemical-free lime wash and treasures I have brought back from my travels including a 1950's killim rug from Turkey and 1920's Indian wall hanging.

It is the perfect place for someone looking to spend a contemplative, restful few weeks working on a creative project and developing visions for 2024. Although it is only a short term let, we are hoping to find someone lovely who fits in well with the culture of the house. As we have all put a lot of love into building our home together, it's really important that the subletter is respectful of the house and looks after it as if it was their own. Ideally, we'd love to find someone who keeps similar hours to the rest of the household: working/studying Mon-Fri, and probably an early bird rather than a night owl.

The location is excellent: 7 minutes walk from Totnes High Street with lovely cafes such as the Hairy Barista , independent shops and pubs like The Bull; 5 minutes walk from the River Dart; 10 minutes from the Dartington Estate with its miles of walking trails and ancient trees; 3 minutes walk from train station;

💸 £430 per month including all bills and an organic vegetable box from Riverford farm every Tuesday.
👼🏽 sharing with three creative, conscious women in their thirties. We are all hustling hard in our personal and professional spheres, but regularly find time for house dinners.
