Hi! I'm Ella - a young professional living and working remotely in Totnes. I relocated here from London 8 months ago for a lifestyle change and couldn't be happier!
I live in a 3 bed two-story apartment. It is fully furnished (with possibly more soft furnishings than is truly necessary...). The property has two bathrooms, one on the first floor with a bath and shower, and the upstairs one with a toilet only. There is a small additional room which I am currently using as a wardrobe. The spare room itself has a large double bed with a view over the Narrows. There is a very large living room, a spacious entrance with a bookshelf, and a separate kitchen. The living room has a log burner which is fab for cosy nights in! On street parking available nearby.
As I work from home nearly 95% of the time, I spend a lot of time in the property, and have an ambition to turn the third bedroom into an office space.
I enjoy swimming (am aiming to go 2-3 times a week at the moment!), I go to Choir on a Wednesday night, and can be found at the Totnes Cinema most Saturday nights. As I am new to the area, would love to have a housemate who I can hang out with, cook with, and get to know! I also value my personal space, so will often curl up on the sofa or in bed with a good book and a cuppa.
I am very clean and tidy - I like having a space that I am proud of and truly feels like home. The property is genuinely gorgeous and I'd love to share the space with a likeminded person :)
I am looking for a housemate who is clean and tidy, personable, sociable, but respects the need for quiet / down time once in a while! A future tenent would need to contribute to the following bills: council tax, water, and gas & electric. I will pay for Wi-Fi. I have a Netflix membership which I am more than happy to share!
Please note: the property is currently for sale, so the duration of stay is unknown at present, but the landlady will be giving 2 months notice once sold.
