Hello.
I own a two bedroom property which has a sun terrace, garden and parking, in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of the village of Whimple. It has easy access to the A30, Honiton, Exeter, the coast and countryside.
The property has an open planned kitchen dinning living room which is light and neutral. There is a separate snug room (which has a pull out sofa bed). There is also a separate utility room with washing machine.
I own a little dog who is very very friendly and loves a bit of attention. He has lived with cats and dogs before, so I would be open to a lodger with pets, as long as the initial meeting between fur babies (and the humans) goes well.
I am now retired but i used to work as a foster carer. I enjoy peoples company, but also sometimes it is nice to have a little space. I would also respect my lodgers needs for company and space as needed.
The room that is available for rent is a very large double bedroom with built in wardrobes, television, dressing table. There could be space for a small sofa as well. The room has its own ensuite bathroom- walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet.
I am hoping to find a lodger who has similar interest to myself. I like gardening, being outdoors, going on dog walk. I babysit my grand-daughter for a few hours most afternoons. At the weekends, i am often out with my family. I like watching coronation street in the evening and also the BBC 2 documentaries.
I am looking for a lodger who can maintain a level of tidiness, as I am very house proud of my little property.
