I’m looking for someone to move into the spare double bedroom that has recently been vacated in my two-bedroom balcony flat on Churchill Road in Boscombe.
With the Renters Rights Act coming into play on May 1st, there’s no longer a fixed term on the tenancy. It can be ended at any time as long as two months notice is given.
But I’d be ideally be looking for someone to move in as soon as. There’s the potential that I choose to move on in December, just so you know.
The bedroom is carpeted and furnished with a double bed, mirror and chest of drawers. It also has a large window. The bathroom is modern, clean and has a bath with a shower head.
The apartment has a balcony that gets sun all day long, as well as a modern kitchen, wooden floorboards throughout and good working utilities.
If we’ve not met, I’m a graduate student from BU currently doing freelance journalism and political communications for the MP of Bournemouth East.
On one, maybe two nights of the week, my girlfriend Heather might stay the night. She may be over for dinner after work sometimes too. She’s a nurse and we both enjoy reading on the balcony, heading out for a dance and are looking forward to a summer on the beach and being out and about with mates.
The previous tenant and I both were happy for each other to have mates round to stay. Not excessively and everyone that’s round is respectful and tidy, and you’d be welcome to have people come to stay too.
The area I live is really lovely. It almost feels secluded from Boscombe. Ten minute walk from the beach and the balcony overlooks a park where the local cafe (50 metres away) has free bakery products from Lidl out on a table like three days a week. Not bad.
No TV at the minute, but we could put in for one if you fancy. Can honestly sit down and enjoy any sport
The flat is decorated in places, I’ve put together decent bookshelf that you’re more than welcome too, but it has a cool feel to it that I hope you might you feel at home in. Of course, we can make sure the place feels like your own too.
