Homeshare in Bournemouth

This room is being advertised on behalf of a friendly lady in her 80s. She is seeking someone to share her home at a a low cost in exchange for some light help around the home.

In return for low cost accommodation of £170 pcm, she would like approximately 10 hours of support each week. Generally tasks would include, companionship (watching TV together on some nights and having discussions etc), shopping (items that have run out), the occasional evening meal and sleeping overnight five nights per week (support is not required overnight, just presence in the home) however the householder is flexible on overnight presence e. g it’s fine if you work occasional night shifts.

The home is bright and spacious. The room available is a double and is furnished with a wardrobe and chest of drawers and bed. There is all ample parking outside the property. There is also a lovely back garden.

The ideal sharer would be female, 21+ friendly, kind, compassionate and caring. The householder is also open to couples though there will be an additional fee cost.

The householder does try and do as much as she can e. g cooking but some help would be welcomed. She has a cleaner and gardener that attend regularly.
The Householder has a very supportive family who will also assist with certain tasks.
As part of our Homesharing scheme, you will need to have/or apply for a recent DBS check and provide two references. You will also need to complete an application form which you can download from our website. The only fees payable are our monthly fees of £170pcm (so you will only pay £170 per month for your room plus a contribution to bills around £30pcm - (£320pcm for couples plus bills). A DBS fee of £30 is required and will be requested once you have passed the initial interview stage.
