Single Room available near beach for student

Looking for a girl to take a vacant room from Sept 2022-August 2023 in our house of 5 (all lovely girls, early twenties to thirties)!

Would suit someone laid back and friendly, but responsible and respectful xx

Location is very central to Bournemouth town, opposite the public library and 1min from Pure Gym.

*The room/house*

The room is a basic single with wardrobe and desk

There is a large living room with a large window overlooking the Triangle (and lots of light), 2 large leather sofas, a TV.

The flooring of the whole downstairs has also recently been redone, and upstairs re-carpeted! Though please be aware that the house itself is quite old - I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone☺️

The house has 2 toilets (one upstairs, one downstairs) and one bathroom with a bath and showerhead.

*Cost*

It’s £375 a month (plus bills). Bills are variable as we have a 'pay as you go' system where we top up our electric and gas cards. We take it in turns to do this and record it on the fridge so its fair! I'd say its about £35 a month currently...but with rising costs of things be aware that this could go up, and it is always more expensive in winter months when we need the heating on.

To secure your room you'd need to pay 1 months rent (as deposit) to the landlady plus £100 as a key deposit (each tenant gets given 3 keys to access the property/gate/room)

*Logistics*

I believe the landlady needs a guarantor (a parent or family member / carer who can commit to paying your rent should you be unable to) - this is common for renting UK property.

The rent contract runs Sept-June. You’d have to commit to staying until June to reach the end of the contracted year.. but if you wanted to move out and found someone to replace you that would be fine.
