Room in friendly home,,

Hi, I'm Felicity,

I have a large comfortable centrally heated home in Bournemouth .(Council Tax Band F).
I currently have one spare room with a private en-suite shower room..
My rooms are all double bedded but for single occupancy. However I will consider a couple in the en-suite room at a rental of £850 pcm.

Bournemouth Station and National Bus Terminal approx 6 mins walk away.
Frequent Buses to town centre and The University 3-4 minutes walk.

I am a young 76, outgoing, bubbly and friendly person, I love meeting new people. I enjoy walking on the beach, going to the theatre and concerts, reading and spending time with friends and family. I belong to an Amateur Dramatic Society both acting in productions and directing.

I'm not big on rules although I do expect people to respect my home whilst treating it as theirs.
You would have use of the kitchen and dining room. Any conflict over timing of use in the kitchen will be sorted by calm negotiation.

The rooms are fully furnished including bedding if required. The cheaper room has a washbasin. and the bathroom is shared between 2 rooms.

There is a launderette close by - or you may use the washing machine and dryer for an additional £12 per week.
I don't allow people to wash or dry washing in the rooms.
When the weather is good there are drying lines on the side of the house.
In colder weather washing can be dried off overnight on racks in a downstairs bathroom and finished off the next day in the drier.

I put "No" to use of the living room but like most things here, that too is open to negotiation.
There are Freeview TVs in the rooms.

I am big on negotiation and if there is anything that is troubling you or you feel that there is a problem, e. g. I'm not being fair, our housemate isn't being fair then I would expect to sit down and talk.

My daughter, Ruth, lives in an annex at the rear of the house, you will see her from time to time. She has three cats, which live with her.
Ruth maintains the gardens and to protect her privacy I have installed a bench in the spacious front garden where tenants may sit, smoke, socialise etc.

I have two rescue cats that live in the house with me If you are seriously allergic I would not recommend my home to you.
