I am looking for a full time student to rent a very large bedroom in my flat from August 2026.
The location is great for either BU’s Talbot or Bournemouth campus and to the Arts University Bournemouth.
This is neither a standard bedroom nor a full studio - it sits somewhere in-between. It is large at 24sqm (260 sqft) and it is naturally divided in two sides: one side works as bedroom / office and the other as a dining / sitting room.

👉 Available for single occupancy but there is flexibility in occasionally hosting visitors. Sleep overs will be considered, but will need to be agreed.

📍12 minute walk to the University's Talbot Campus – I am a BU academic and walk to work every time I have to travel to campus.
📍Lots of services within a 10 min walk (Winton high street): supermarkets (Lidl, Iceland, Waitrose), restaurants / pubs / caffes, post office, barbers / hairdressers, beauty salons, etc.
🚌 The closest bus stop (Winton) is 5-7 min walk away and will take around 8 minutes to the train station and 16 minutes to town centre. Buses 5, 5a, 12, 13, 13a, 15, 17, 32 U3, and 737 all stop within 5-7 minute walk from the property.
𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: There is no allocated parking but there is on-road parking as follows:
🚗 Berkeley Road and Stirling Road (2 min walk) - No restriction
🚗 Roslin Rd (1 min walk): Suitable for overnight parking (Restriction 8am-5pm weekdays).
🚗 Berkeley Road (1 min walk): Suitable for overnight parking (Restriction 10-11am & 2.30-3.30pm Weekdays from 15 Sept – 7 July)
This is a split floor flat and I live mainly on the upper floor, only coming down to get in and out of the flat and to use the kitchen.
I’m looking for:
👉 A quiet and tidy person
👉 Non-smoker
👉 6-month minimum commitment
