Superb location just 200m from local buses and 200m from the beach/sea. The zig zag is in front of our building. You are on the seafront promenade in 30seconds! We also have a fantastic well kept community garden for our building's residents with seaviews which you can use too.
The room is a cabin style & small but is very well organised and with everything you need: a single bed, shelves and hangers for clothes, a small desk and chair, drawers, book shelves and underbed storage. It is excellent if you are working or out a lot and it's a comfortable nest to sleep and relax in. There is your own radiator and a flatscreen TV in front of the bed, all in a large character flat (with high ceilings and oak parquet flooring) near the beaches/ sea (as we said) and close to the town centre in a good quiet area surrounded by trees & greenery, away from main road traffic.
The central train/coach station is 10-15minutes walk from our place. The town centre is 20-25minutes from us via the seafront promenade, from East Cliff or you are 10 min walk to the Lansdowne area.
The flat is clean and tidy with 2 other professionals who have more expensive large double rooms and 1 landlord. There is a shared large renovated bathroom with bath and a shower (with 24hr hot water), seperate WC and well equipped kitchen (with quiet washing machine, cooker, microwave, etc) with your own store cupboard. You have your own fridge in your room and a drawer in our freezer. We also have a small shared terrace, with our own separate entrance all away from the noise of the main roads and surrounded by trees and the sound of birds so in a quiet and safe place.
The price includes all bills e. g. gas, electricity, water, TV licence, Council tax, high speed Fibre-Optics broadband internet (the best on the market). Off road parking is possible on Manor Road or the Derby road area (free all the time) or you can use our bicycle shed for free.
The price also reflects the highly convenient and desirable location as you will save money on transport fees as our previous tenants did and be in a good neighbourhood. Professionals or mature studenst or reliable, quiet, clean tenants welcome.
Carers who apply can have a reduced rent in exchange for a few hours 1-2 hours per week;
