Double room in centre of Dorchester

Large double room in quiet central location 10-15 min walk from Dorchester hospital & train station available for one person from 8th of September until Christmas (until 21st December). Also likely to be available again from early January but please note the accommodation is not available over Christmas and New Year.

Everything is in good condition. There is central heating, instant, unlimited hot water, and broadband. The room is furnished with a double bed, desk, shelving unit, wardrobe, mirror and bedside table. Additional clothes rails are available if required.

There is no parking but permits can be obtained from the Council for street parking nearby and there is a public car park just a stone's throw from the house.

There is a communal kitchen / dining area and a small utility room plus a front yard with space for bicycles. I don't have a lounge and the house is quite small with only one bathroom, so we'll need to help each other out in terms of keeping it clean and tidy, e. g. by doing our washing up straight away and keeping the work surfaces clear. I'm ideally looking for someone that would be happy to take on a couple of chores such as putting the bins out or running the hoover round once a week to keep the place nice as that would be a big help.

Regrettably, I am unable to accommodate couples, pets or overnight guests. Also I do need someone that will be working mostly out of the home, because I need the dining table for my work during the day. Other members of the household may be working nights or need to rest / study at any time day or night, so we need to be sensitive to that and I ask that earphones are always used when listening to music, watching films, making calls or having online meetings etc. and that folks are considerate, keep the noise down and try not to disturb each other. This means the house is always very peaceful and quiet, and an easy place to rest, relax or study. Neither smoking or drinking alcohol is permitted in the house, and non-smokers are preferred.
