We are looking for a lovely and kind Homesharer for a lovely 77 year old gentleman in need of a little support around the home and companionship. The Homeshare programme allows people to save on their accommodation while offering their spare time to someone in need.
The Householder is mentally capable and still enjoys social activities such as going to concerts, swimming and going to restaurants. However he feels sometimes isolated. He suffered with Parkinson’s which is well managed with medications. He has a carer who looks after his personal care and a cleaner. He still drives and manages to do his own shopping but struggles at time. He enjoys going for walks when possible.
The property offers a lovely double room with there we two bathrooms in the property there is also a spare sitting room the homesharer could use. There is also plenty of space if someone working from home.
As a Homesharer you will offer between 10 to 15 hours of your time each week in tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and companionship. The help is offered in a flexible manner respecting the Homesharers work schedule. Please the note the property is 18 minutes drive from Dorchester town centre. A drivers is essential.
