I have a Detached large home in a rural position with ample driveway parking. I have a double room to let in a spacious 18th century thatch-roof cottage situated in the heart of the beautiful Poxwell countryside. This is available for 7 day let OR Monday-Friday let.
My new lodger is now not moving in due to personal circumstances so the room is available again
LOCATION
The cottage is within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth, Warmwell, Osmington, Crossways, Broadmayne, Upwey and Moreton, and walking distance of Ringstead beach. It offers access to many countryside and coastal walking routes, including the coastal path that leads to Lulworth and Durdle Dore. We are only a mile walk from the ringstead beach.
LOCAL AMENITIES
2 Co-Op grocery stores, several village shops, pubs, tea rooms and a post office are within easy reach. A large Tesco supermarket, Dorset County Hospital, Weymouth Hospital and Dorset Council are 10 mins. drive away.
DOUBLE ROOMS
The room is on the 1st floor of the cottage and has windows that look onto the beautiful surrounding countryside and a view of the sea. the room has a comfortable double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside table, mirror. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own furniture.
LIVING ROOM
Use of 2nd living room/ snug / games room
GYM EQUIPMENT
You would have use of our gym equipment, this includes a treadmill, a cross fit machine , a step climber and a cycle, Perfect for keeping fit indoors!!
DINING ROOM
you would have use of the seperate dining room
GARDEN
You would have use of a very large, peaceful garden and patio (not a neighbour in sight!), with stunning, uninterrupted views of the surrounding open fields, rolling hills, woods and sea. Perfect for relaxing in and watching the sun go down!
PARKING
There is ample space for parking in the cottage’s grounds, as well as indoor bike storage space, and separate stables for my horse
BATHROOM
You would have use of the large upstairs bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, bathroom cabinets and large bathtub, and the downstairs bathroom with toilet and sink.
KITCHEN
You would have use of the kitchen, which includes a microwave, double oven, grill, toaster, kettle, smoothie-maker, new washing machine, tumble dryer, crockery, cutlery, cookware, dining table, ample cupboard space, 2 fridges, freezer and TV. There is also a washing line in the garden.
The cottage also comes with unlimited wireless internet. (fibreoptic)
ABOUT ME
You would be sharing the cottage with myself and my well-behaved dogs, who are kept downstairs in their own room. I am an easy-going, friendly, and respectful person who is sociable but equally have my own life to lead, looking to rent to someone with similar characteristics.
Also another lodger who is equally friendly!
PETS
I will consider requests from prospective lodgers with dogs on an individual basis, a £75 per month surcharge will be added.
