Room/house share on edge of Marnhull in N. Dorset

I have a double room to let for single occupancy, with shared facilities, in a friendly home.

The house is in a semi-rural position, with a cottage garden overlooking the Blackmore Vale.
The bedroom is approximately 9'x 13' with a south facing window with good views. It is fully furnished and has a central heating radiator, TV aerial and a smoke detector.

There is a large open plan kitchen, with dining table and two sofas. There is also a walk-in larder, with separate sink, and a utility room with washing machine, drying space and toilet. Each household member has their own fridge. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom and also a separate shower, toilet and basin.
The house is a bit old fashioned. If you prefer 'very modern', then it may not suit.
Parking is off road, on the verge.
The location is 3 miles from Sturminster Newton, 10 miles from Sherborne, 7 from Shaftesbury, 12 from Blandford and 20 miles from Dorchester.

I am used to house sharing and have had various people living here over the years, of all ages and different nationalities.

The room is only available to a working person. I don't mind what work it is. I would also be happy to consider someone who is just looking for somewhere Monday to Friday.
Smoking is OK if it's outside.
Broadband is included, but not the telephone.

I would require references and a signed lodger agreement form. In addition I can supply references for myself - from people who have shared the house in the past.
