I am looking for the right person to share my gorgeous Grade 2 Listed cottage on the edge of the village, in a very quiet and sought after location.
The room is very cosy, with a view of the old allotments so not overlooked at all.
The room has a king-size ottoman bed with a very comfortable memory foam mattress, a large wardrobe, a built in cupboard and a TV.
The cottage has central heating and double glazing and the garden backs on to fields and a public footpath.
We will be sharing a bathroom and there’s a downstairs loo as well. The living room is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The layout of my home means we can each have our own space if we want it, or share the living room without us feeling crowded.
The village of Milborne Port has a pub, a fish and chip shop with a licensed restaurant, a library, sports and social club, a hairdresser, butcher and a Michelin starred restaurant. There’s a decent sized Co-op five minutes walk away and a pretty good bus service to Sherborne, Yeovil, Wincanton and Blandford. The train station in Sherborne is on the Exeter St. David’s to London Waterloo line and the station in Yeovil runs from Gloucestershire to Weymouth so we are really well connected here.
The village holds a little market on Saturday mornings, where we can buy produce, cakes and lots of other nice stuff.
I share my home with three small dogs, three cats, a corn snake and two terrapins, and there is a flock of chickens free ranging in the garden so if you are not an animal lover then this is not the listing for you!
