Description
Current occupants are Lani and Caitlin. Caitlin is currently working from home and Lani is back and forth between the office and home.
Looking for a housemate to move into the master bedroom. We like to keep the same friendly house-share feeling, so are looking for a tenant who is relaxed, with an open mind, interesting stories and a good sense of humour and hold a respect for others. We're an environmentally conscious house and someone with a similar mindset would be great.
Caitlin's hobbies include knitting, reading and board games. Lani’s interests include Netflix documentaries and nights out (when allowed)!
Please note that no dogs are allowed but other pets are to be discussed with the landlord on a case by case basis.
The Room:
- King-size, sprung-slats bed (very comfy!)
- Built in storage (large wardrobes, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, vanity unit/desk)
- Additional storage available within bed.
Shared Spaces:
-Living room (includes one of those moving picture frames, two sofas, dining room table and chairs)
-Bathroom (complete with bath, toilet, basin, and storage)
-Shower-room (complete with...shower!, basin, toilet)
-Kitchen (complete with every pot you will ever need, bottle-opener, cork-screw, take-away menus, and the biggest collection of asian spices...oh, and fan-oven & gas hobs)
-Garden (large south-facing garden with patio, lawn, bbq, parasol, greenhouse, shed, and growing space - all beautifully rearranged in an abstract style courtesy of the lovely weather. Composting included)
-Garage (a large, secure, building down one side of the house suitable for storing bikes/kayaks/surfboards/tardis/sense of wonder/childhood memories etc)
- Driveway/ Off road parking
Location is 5 mins from the Heathland, and 30-40 min walk into Bournemouth through the gardens, 20 min bus-ride to both Poole and Bournemouth town centre, and around 7 mins drive to Bournemouth University Wallisdown campus. Industrial estates for commuting to work are within easy travel distance as well, including areas around Tower Park and Nuffield. Tower Park is 5 mins by bus / car, and around 25 mins walk. We are both cyclists and get around to all of these places easily and quickly without bus or car.
The A350 west is about 10 mins away (good access to Devon, Cornwall or the Isle of Purbeck.
There's a leisure centre, Tesco express, good butchers, chip-shop, and other takeaways within 5 mins walk.
