Beautiful And Quirky (!) Spot With Lots Of Space

Sweet double room to rent in a semi detached 3 bed cottage on the edge of Donhead St Mary - 10 minutes from Shaftesbury, close to the A30 to Salisbury.

The room available is front facing with a nice window looking out at a huge oak tree. It’s unfurnished but I'll be happy to help find the things that are needed.

I'm a gardener and craftswoman, very eco conscious, like connecting with a walk, coffee in the morning and a meal in the evening as well as time by myself.

I'm looking for someone to actually share this beautiful place with. I'm not interested in impersonal ignore-each-other kind of house shares, been there and it doesn't work for me. Someone who's asking the big questions and isn't afraid of digging deep into the nature of things is very welcome here.

You need to be okay with dogs, as I've got Hugo, who is getting old now (11 1/2) and can be a bit grumpy. He's sweet though, once he knows you (carrots help!)

There is a wood burner fitted which makes the living room incredibly cozy when it's cold and damp outside. A hearth in the truest sense of the word :)
There is one bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. There is plenty of space for all sorts of creativity, including an extra studio in the garden that we can turn into a usable space (still on the list of things to do).

As a gardener I put a lot of time and love into growing food and would really appreciate green fingered people and maybe a hand, occasionally, to help things really grow, then we have delicious food to eat :)
I am also learning beekeeping at the moment, and there's a small and very friendly colony living at the end of the garden, going about their sweet business (it's a big garden, and there is plenty of space ;) )

Not only is this place filled with plants, a dog and bees, I also have another wonderful human living here (she insisted to be mentioned after anything else ;) ) We get on well and hope you fit right in.

The area is beautiful with incredibly beautiful walks, a lovely local village shop in Ludwell (10 minute walk) and lots of cows in the nearby fields and owls in the trees at night.
