I am looking for a female lodger for my spacious two-bedroom flat in Southbourne. I live there also but travel periodically within the UK and overseas. The property is situated in a great location, just five minutes from Southbourne Grove in one direction, and the Overcliff and surrounding beaches in the other..
The room is a spacious double with fitted cupboards and a bedside chest of drawers, which offer ample storage. There is also shared access to a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with power shower - please see the attached photos. The room has direct access onto a private verandah, which is great for sitting and enjoying a coffee outside when the weather permits. There is also access to a communal garden, to the front and rear of the property. There is parking in the road with no need for a permit.
I will require one month's deposit of £700, and the rental contract will initially be for three-months. At the end of that period, if the arrangement suits us both, I will be happy to extend it. The price does not include bills, which are £150 pm to contribute to the cost of the monthly maintenance and council tax charge - band C.
