I occupy the other bedroom in the flat and work as a freelance creative, often working on my own products to sell. I do mainly painting, sewing and installation maker work. Lover of all crafts and keen to start silversmithing soon.
I also work from home for periods of time, and can be away for a few days at a time. Ideally a creative person would be suited to this household, especially someone who practises hands on skills at home. However really suited to someone out of the house during weekday daytimes. The garden is big, mostly covered in decking. Has plenty of room for anyone keen to grow plants or veg. There's flexibility if you need to store belongings in the garden and a bike store that is barely used. Extra storage here would be arranged. There is also storage in a separate cupboard next to the bathroom which can fit quite a lot.
The shed at the back is an outdoor art/craft studio containing sewing machines and various maker tools. Music lovers have always lived in this flat, so keen for that to continue. It's also a pretty quiet area and neighbours are all respectful of each other. It's not a party flat but everyone that's lived here has been an avid festival goer.
The parking space at the back is off road and I rarely use it so it'd pretty much be yours. The great thing about the location here is the coop is a minutes walk, as is the Brewhouse and the Outback Pub. Best location in Southbourne and about 7 min walk from Southbourne overcliff, through the woodland walk of Fisherman's walk.
Roughly 7 mins walk from the train station and 3 min walk to Bus stops that have very frequent buses. Very safe area and particularly safe feeling for females going out at night in this area.
