Description
Hi 😊
I’m a working professional and have recently bought my home, so I’m looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a calm, clean, and positive space. Ideally, I’m looking for another professional, but I would consider a mature student if the fit feels right.
The flat is currently being furnished as I’ve just moved in, so it’s still coming together. The second bedroom is not yet furnished, but I’m working on it. I’ll also be adding a sofa to the living room within the next 6–7 weeks. If you’d prefer to furnish your own room to suit your style, I’m completely open to that.
The bathroom has just been fully renovated, so it’s brand new and finished to a fresh, modern standard.
You’ll have your own private room, and all bills are included, including broadband so everything is nice and straightforward. The property is fully electric (no gas).
Location-wise, the flat is in a great spot:
* 5-minute walk to Southbourne High Street
* Around a 10-minute drive to Bournemouth Hospital
* The beach is within walking distance (approximately 15 minutes)
I also have a garage available for parking if you have a car, as I use the space outside the garage myself.
I work from home occasionally (not every day) and naturally enjoy a peaceful home environment. I’m quite introverted, but friendly, easygoing, and have a dry sense of humour I appreciate a home that feels relaxed and comfortable rather than overly busy.
I’m looking for someone who is respectful, clean, and takes pride in their space. Keeping shared areas tidy, especially after cooking, is important. I do cook at home and sometimes use strong flavours, so it would suit someone who is comfortable with that.
In terms of lifestyle, I’m not looking for a party household, but I completely understand people have their own routines — coming home late is absolutely fine, as long as there’s mutual respect and the home stays a calm, easy place to live.
I’m really looking for someone who will treat this as a home, not just a place to stay.
Overall, I’d love to share the space with someone considerate, independent, and with a similar mindset someone who values a peaceful home but is also warm and easy to live with.
If this sounds like your kind of place, feel free to reach out 😊
