Homeshare cooking /support - Room exchange

Female caring cook /companion to share peaceful modern home, in beautiful Lyme Regis - with lovely garden & cat in exchange for
5 cooking / care. shifts p week, of 2.30 hrs each, (2 hrs lunch 30mins breakfast ) for elderly female.

1 Bathroom is shared with one other female, - ( not the elderly female, Who has her own bathroom)

This room for work exchange will Suit a Caring & mature FEMALE homesharer / .

Term: Begins initially mid October onwards up to around 15 December. 1 month minimum stay.

The exchange is available again after mid January. Flexibility with days.

Light housekeeping consists of; cleaning up the kitchen after food prep, and operating the dishwasher. Using the dyson cordless vacuum in common spaces & emptying bins.

Single person only, no couples. . Should be a healthy FEMALE , preferably non red meat eater and a NON SMOKER / non regular drinker. (Not suitable to bring children or pets)

You need to enjoy cooking & be able to prepare food from scratch. Clean simple “Mediterranean style” food preparation with vegetables, fruit, grains, fish. Pasta, (No red meat). We are a health conscious home, aware of using “food as medicine “

We would welcome a warm hearted compassionate & capable, FEMALE with similar lifestyle interests and a practical, consciousness seeking, aware spirit to share our lovely home.

A high standard in Personal Cleanliness and hygiene protocols around food preparation is essential. Equally around the home; as well as care for your own health and tidiness, cleaning of your personal & shared communal spaces.

Ideally you are Creative and able to improvise. Other Qualities needed are: sensitivity, lightheartedness & honest, respectful, patient, responsible, flexible, with a genuine interest in Connection and friendship. Maturity, understanding and a good sense of humour are also essential.

Up to date CRB Check and a work or previous landlord and character references required.

Our home is spacious and comfortable 3 bed, 2 bathrooms, with a lounge and wood burner, dining room, garden and parking.. Further details & Photos on request.

There is an allotment a few mins away with panoramic views to the sea, which you may use to grow vegetables, flowers and relax in.

Lyme Regis is a vibrant, characterful seaside town; rich with natural wild beauty, woodlands and Cliff walks with Stunning views of Lyme Bay and beyond. There are many restaurants & cafes, Artisan & crystal shops, town mill bakery, theatre, an artistic community and a sandy as well as stone beach. It gets busy in summer tourist season and quieter in winter. We love the clean air and peace here.
