Hi!
We have a bright, spacious double room free in our homely 3rd floor apartment and have decided to take on a lodger. We have the maximum stay set to 6 months, however we are open to this turning into a rolling monthly contract after 6 months.
The double room comes furnished with ample storage, fitted with blackout blinds and is virtually an ensuite as you'll have access to the bathroom just outside your room. It is sometimes used by guests as it is the accessible WC, but only occasionally.
We have a comfortable living/dining room and a south-facing sun-room which doubles as a balcony overlooking the well-maintained communal garden of the apartment building. It's fantastic for soaking in the sun whether it's warm or cold out!
Free street parking is available a couple of minutes from the building, there is a single space for permit parking that could also be shared. We're happy to store a bike/spare belongings in out garage space.
We live on Poole Road but don't typicaly have any problem with road noise. It has fanastic access - it's just a 15 minute walk down to Middle-Chine beach, 10 minute cycle to the train station or Branksome retail park, 5 minutes walk to the Triangle or Westbourne Arade. 2 GPs within 5 minutes of us, and two convenient stores within 5 minutes of us. There's also a bus stop right outside the building that takes you directly to Poole, the other side of Bournemouth, or north toward Winton and the University campus.
We have most of the amenities you'll need here, and it's a combi-boiler so hot water is on demand and never in fear of running out. Bills are included in the price which includes water, gas/electric, wifi and council-tax.
*Whilst we can't take cats/dogs, other small pets may be fine.*
On to the importat stuff :D personality! We're an LGBTQ+ friendly home; my partner and I are in our late 20's and are a fairly relaxed pair~ you won't find us overly coupley. One of us works from home in the office and the other working from home from the couch most of the time ^^' We're a social pair but air on the side of home-bodies as we don't exactly go clubbing or out drinking. We enjoy making the most of our surroundings with all the wonderful outdoors around the Dorset area and can be quite active when weather inspired. On the other side of things we love to binge a good series or play boardgames and nerd out a bit too. One of us runs a fortnightly D&D game, so there's definitely nerdcore elements.
We'd love to find someone with similar interests, but equally are respectful of those that prefer to keep to themselves. If you're interested in renting our room, we'd love to meet you and show you the space Admittedly we would prefer someone who works on-site as now that 2 of us work from home, we will need the space for meetings etc..
PS - Please ignore the christmas decorations in our living room as they won't be here when you arrive X'D
