The available room includes a double bed, two bedside cabinets, two chests of drawers, a wardrobe and built-in shelving. I have super fast 150+ meg broadband/wifi. I also have a large private rear garden, and large private attic which can be used to store things you may not need immediate access to, such as unused suitcases, etc.

The room was redecorated in its entirety from new carpet to new paint and wallpaper, brand new bedding, blinds, wardrobes etc. As of August 2017, it's remained as a spare room and has never been let out before.

Amenities include washing machine and tumble drier.

The property itself is an upper floor three bedroom (four in a block house) located in a very quiet area within Parkhall, in Clydebank. Clydebank itself is a town that lies approximately 7 miles west of Glasgow city centre.

There are two local train stations within 10-15 minute walking distances of the property which both offer direct train services to Glasgow city centre. The train from either of the local stations to Glasgow city centre take approximately 18 minutes. There is a bus stop located within a 2 minute walk and this also offers a direct journey into Glasgow City Centre. The drive/a taxi into the city centre takes approximately 15 minutes (25 during rush hour). The drive/a taxi into the West End takes approximately 10 minutes.

The asking rent for full time students is £350 pcm, and this includes rent, energy/utility bills, broadband, etc.

If you are over the age of 18 AND not a full time student, then i'd have to ask for an additional £25 per month. This is purely a council tax contribution because I currently benefit from a sole occupant tax discount and I will lose this discount if I let the room to a non-student.

My ideal housemate would be seeking a shorter term let, but I would be open to longer term proposals.

I am a live-in landlord, am 25 years of age and work in commercial real estate. I work 9-5 in the city centre and am often out of the house between 8am and 7pm. However recently, over the past few months I have been staying most week days at my girlfriends house so the house will generally be empty for half the week! This has been the case for the past few months. But isn't set in stone.
