The room is being given a fresh coat of paint and a little sprucing up before move-in (new colour shown in the ad photos), so it’ll be ready for someone to settle in comfortably.

Washing machine, dryer, and your own under-counter freezer (fridge is shared between two)

Bedrooms are separated by the hallway for a greater sense of privacy

Room is for one person only (no couples, sorry)

8-minute walk to the shore where the Loch meets the Clyde

25-minute walk / 5-minute cycle to Helensburgh town centre

1 mile to Helensburgh Central Station

Glasgow commute: around 1hr 15mins (door to city centre by train), or 55mins by car

You’ll be sharing with me — a friendly, professional male in my mid-thirties working an irregular shift pattern. Occasional WFH is fine, but the flat isn't suitable as a full-time work base

I’m hoping to find a respectful and tidy flatmate who’s looking for a peaceful, shared space. The flat is best suited to a professional (or someone working full-time), ideally within the 25–50 age range, though I’m open-minded if it feels like the right fit.

A pet could be considered, depending on the animal and arrangement – feel free to ask.

This isn’t a “first-come, first-served” situation – it’s more important to find someone who will be a good fit for the home.

🔎 A Quick Note on Viewings:
The current lodger is here until just before 24th September. Until then, I can’t offer in-person viewings of the bedroom, but I’m happy to provide videos of the common areas and chat via video call. The main photo in the ad is the most accurate representation of the room’s layout and size.
