Description
My home is a detached dormer bungalow well set back from the A485 with 2 acres approximately 4 miles from the centre of Carmarthen. I manage it for biodiversity and food production. My property is on the T1 electric bus route Aberystwyth to Carmarthen which runs hourly; it's about 15 minutes into town.
I have plenty of easy parking and access from A485 is good. I have an elderly cat who spends most of her time in the back porch.
Whoever ends up as tenant will have the run of the house other than the other bedrooms and my desk in the smaller reception room. Downstairs there is a modern kitchen with a large fridge which is big enough to share and a dining area. I also have two chest freezers which tenants are welcome to use.
There are two reception rooms, one with a log burner, the other with a large smart TV and a formal dining area. This larger room is L shaped,7m by 7m with access to the garden. The house is big enough to be private or social. There is a downstairs shower room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The one available for rent is large with windows on two sides. It is double glazed. There is an extra large King size bed, a table that doubles as a desk, masses of hanging space and two chests of drawers. It has its own door to a spacious Jack and Jill shower room which also opens onto the landing. This shower room would be exclusively for the occupant of the bedroom between the hours of 6pm and 9am.
WiFi is good and is included in the rent. Bedlinen is included. I am looking for someone - happily a student - who is really interested in environmental issues who has time to help me outside. If I find the right person, the rent would be negotiable, but any help would have to be from interest and enthusiasm, rather than monetary gain. I am happy to help young people make their money go further. Expect to enjoy fresh fruit and veg from the garden.
My council Tax band Is F.
