Basement annexe

Hi, we are a young professional couple and are new to renting out a spare room. We are currently nearing the completion of a full renovation of our basement, which has been converted into a self-contained annexe. The space is bright, modern, and benefits from direct access to our garden.

The annexe features a fully finished open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area. The living space includes a two-seater reclining sofa, two single armchairs, and a TV. The kitchen–diner is equipped with a dining table and four chairs, a two-ring induction hob, fridge freezer, air fryer, microwave, kettle, and all essential kitchen utensils. The annexe has its own private front door as well as French doors opening onto our enclosed garden.

The bedroom area is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps, and includes an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with an electric shower, toilet, and basin. The bedroom also has French doors providing additional access to the garden.

Externally there is a covered area to sit down outside and a large patio, further on there is a mature garden with a lawn and mixture of plants, shrubs and trees.

There is a large driveway at the property available for tenant use.

We are a married male couple and share our home with one small dog. We do not have children, though nieces and nephews visit occasionally.
