Room to let in family home

Hello, I live with a 19 year old lodger and my two young children, 4y and 6y old boys. We are used to welcoming people into our busy and fun household through my work as a host of international students coming over to Scotland to study.

We don't currently have any full time host students and are willing to consider other students and/or professionals on a longer term basis instead. As mentioned above I have two very social children who love getting to know new people and we are a typical family home. Any guest would be welcome to join in meals, movies, days out or not - whatever works for you. Your room would be your own and everyone in the house is asked to respect each other privacy and not enter each others rooms without invitation.

We live in a detached 4 bedroom house with an additional bedroom added via garage conversion. We have a front driveway and garden as well as on street parking and a lovely big back garden. Tranent also has good transport links via the bus service as well as a train station which is a 10 minute drive away. As a fairly large town there is lots to do in the area with a local sports center, medical center, cafes, hairdressers, supermarkets etc. Council tax band F.
