You’ll be occupying a furnished double room (walls have now been painted white) with a gorgeous view of Bevendean’s hills.

Hi everyone! We (Violette + Mag) are currently looking for a third housemate to join our cozy home (3 bed + 1 bath) in Bevendean 🙂, move in in *early March*. We are a queer + neurodivergent-friendly household (we’re both queer + autistic) that enjoys collective yaps about our special interests and nights in watching paranormal/spooky content 👻. Non-students and at least mid-to-late twenties (25+) are highly preferred.

*MUSTS:* Cat-loving ✳️(i. e., familiar with living with cats or willing to learn), communicative, clean and tidy, quiet at night; otherwise we’re pretty chill!

We'd also greatly prefer someone with whom we can become friends and build community; i. e., shares similar values (e. g., commitment to social justice, is environmentally conscious, etc.) and would be down to spend some time together as a house a couple of times a week/month!

*HOUSE + RENT:*
* ~£700-750pcm after utilities (band C council tax ~£180 will be split equally between three of us)
* Located 30min from central Brighton, 20min from Uni of Sussex, 10-15min from Brighton Uni, Aldi, Sainsburys via bus (🚌 48 - right opposite our place, 1min walk)
* 5-7min walk to the nearest corner shop
* Slight incline (~25m in total, ~2m from the closest bus stop), with 15 steps leading up to the front door
* You’ll be occupying the room on the upper floor (beside Mag’s room); plus points include a spacious kitchen, as well as a washer + dryer.
* No more pets allowed.

*WHO YOU’LL BE LIVING WITH:*
_*Mag (she/her, 27)*_ is a researcher and part-time carer who’s passionate about social psychology (collective action, social change and decoloniality). Some other interests include anything artsy/crafty (been cross-stitching and embroidering everything in sight lately), sci-fi, being a stationery connoisseur, concerts/gigs, and being a food snob. Extra perk if you’re my housemate and you’re nice is that I can make you a delicious cup of matcha (peer-reviewed!).

_*Violette (she/her, 27)*_ is an AuDHD spiritual counsellor whose key interests include spirituality, mental health, and decolonisation. I'm a proud mama to an empty-headed ragdoll kitty whose companionship you'll also be blessed with if you move in with us! I LOVE indie music, play the keyboard, and pole dance (not very well). I love learning about the occult, metaphysics, and any mind-bendy conversations to do with the Universe. 😊
