I own this property but am in the early stages of trying to move myself and my two dogs overseas so I’ve had a massive declutter, sold most of my furniture and am living a small and simple life while I work through months of paperwork.

I largely work from home, and enjoy a peaceful existence outside of that, I don’t drink (would prefer to live with a non-drinker/not have alcohol in the house), I’m not a partier, I walk my dogs, volunteer at parkrun, chill with TV or a book, vegetarian/flexitarian.

Anyone interested must be VERY dog friendly, I have two doodle breeds (non-shedding), one is quite large (30kg but tall) the other is medium sized (20kg but big in attitude). Both are young (2yrs / 18mo) so they have energy and need firm boundaries to stop them jumping up at you (because they’re excited and want to be your best friend). The smaller one makes for exceptional sofa cuddles once you’re acquainted, she’s so damn cute. Dogs are crated while I’m out of the house, a dog walker will come to collect them, walk them and return them to their crates on the days I need to be in an office.

Shared use of lounge (which is largely unfurnished because I’m waiting for my sofa to sell - though I could keep this for the comfort of a lodger), kitchen and bathroom (shower only, no bath). The lounge has a 65” TV mounted on the wall, I don’t have a TV licence as only use streaming services like Netflix, NowTV, Disney+, Apple etc. We could talk about getting a licence for your use if you’d like.

The available bedroom is the master, I’ll live with the dogs in the spare. The master has a large built in wardrobe with further storage above it, and an additional tall but narrow cupboard, though the interior of that isn’t much to brag about. Until recently the room was furnished with a kingsize bed, bed side table and two chests of drawers, so plenty of space. Large window with top and bottom restrictors so it can be left open by about 10cm without security risk. Curtains have blackout lining for a completely dark room when they’re closed.

The flat has one off street parking space which I use but this could be negotiated, there is on street parking but also space for a small car around the side of the building.

There is a large, manicured garden to the rear which is shared with the complex of four buildings, the lounge has patio doors leading into this garden though my dogs can’t be out there unsupervised so I keep the patio door shut, you’d just need to close it behind you if you go into the garden.

Kitchen has a large double fridge freezer so plenty of space, gas hob, electric oven, cupboard space (though I have reduced to limited cutlery/crockery so good if you have your own), I have an air-fryer but no microwave, washing machine but no tumble dryer.

Must like dogs, must be chill, must not mind the occasional muddy carpet after we return from a woodland walk. Also must not be looking for anything super long term/must be flexible. I won’t need to sell up and leave overnight and will be able to give a month or more’s notice, but I hope to be moving on within a year.
