Description
Hi there
We've a fully furnished medium double, in our friendly central house.
The room is available January 1st BUT maybe free a little earlier.
🛌The room faces south overlooking the garden. It has a small double bed, clothes rails x 2 , bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, desk with chair, built in shelving, storage ottoman - basically everything you see in the photos.
🚿Sharing big bathroom with just one other person.
All bills AND sundries included
Downstairs: large lounge diner, with all the usual. Also a separate smart kitchen. South facing walled garden.
Full fibre broadband. Good WiFi everywhere.
🚶If you don't know The Hanover part of Brighton - Southover Street is definitely a bit of a hill. The house is on the lower half: Just 4-5 min walk down to the level and the London rd shops and Valley Gardens, 5 mins up to Queens Park, hospital. Under 15 mins walk to Brighton station or down to the beach. In the immediate Hanover area there are pubs, cafes, local convenience shops/takeaways, bus stops and an incredibly friendly community.
🚗 On street permit parking, Zone V, no waiting list.
🚲 Hanover also operates a Secure Cycle Hanger Scheme.
We are looking to share the house with an independent, considerate, person who wants a place that feels like their home too. It's not a party house but its a kind place with a cozy vibe.
Well done for reading this far. 🙌
We do our own thing a lot of the time but do have a meal & movie together or a games night, alongside grabbing a chat in the kitchen, pub etc.
🕛We are both chilled and considerate of stuff like big/late noise on work nights - so the house is probably best suited to someone who is (more or less) a 9-5 sort of person.
📍Stuff that may also matter to you:
I'm vegan, Rory isn't. I'm gay, Rory isn't (though we're pretty sure that one's not diet related)
So Rory is the younger of us (by some margin) He completed his MSc last year and is now in a graduate scheme for an engineering company. He likes indie music and history. He plays paddle, touch rugby, enjoys 5K and loves bouldering. I'm quite happy listening to him talk about all of these things as I leach calcium and vitamin D from him.
My background is in events and theatre. I like wine, coffee, movies, music, gardening and the beach - swimming daily during the warmer months.
We do have lots in common too - from cooking to comedy and we both really love Brighton.
💻 A bit of hybrid WFH is of course cool *BUT we're really looking for someone who goes out to work the majority of the time*
We currently all work from home on Fridays 😁
*** There are no hidden costs: so all bills includes: Gas, Electric, Council Tax, Water, wifi and TV stuff, cleaning PLUS sundries like loo roll, kitchen towel, washing up liquid etc ***
Ref with £500 deposit.
----------------------------------------------
Do look at the pics and if you're interested - drop us a line in the first instance.
📌PLEASE SAY A BIT ABOUT your situation and routine plus what you are hoping for - with any further questions you may have too.
We've said January 1st for start date but there maybe some flexibility.
Happy House Hunting.
Cheers
Chris and Rory 😁
