A double room near Preston Circus is available from 1st January 2019. (Short term let over Xmas is also considered)

I work as a professional artist and lecturer in creative technology. My son recently moved out and I am looking for someone to take the room.

The room is sleek and spacious, comes furnished, a top quality double bed (120cm in width), wardrobe, large desk and chair, and I provide bedding, linens and towels. My kitchen is well equipped and you’ll have access to the fridge/freezer and the washer. If you are a smoker, you can smoke in the front patio or back garden. I'd welcome small fluffy creatures (sorry no dogs)

It's on the lower ground floor, 20 SECONDS from London Road station, 15 mins to Brighton station & North Laine, 3 mins to Preston Circus.

I work in London as a lecturer for a couple of days a week, (on those days I get up at 6 am). I also work from home. I enjoy walking in the woods, going to gigs, exploring the natural beauty and love trying out new things happening around the city. I’m passionate about the environment, especially food waste issue, creative cooking is something I do at home often.

I’d love to share a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with you when possible. I keep the party out of the house and treat the space as a relaxed one where to come back to. There are plenty of pubs and music venues within short walking distance! I keep the house CLEAN and respect the others' time and space, and I normally keep it quiet after 11 pm, so you’d be the same.

You may be a foreign student, a studious mature student or a professional person who does what you love.

Since flatshare is a new thing for me, I'd prefer someone who is happy to try out my place for a few months to see how it goes. Mon-Fri only or a few days per week rental is also considered.

It's £500 all bills inclusive and £250 deposit.
Rolling contract, with 2 weeks notice required.
