Looking for Mr Right (actually the ONE possible straight vacancy in our LGBTQ house :) - young, creative, outgoing, keen for a shared home rather than a corporate place to crash. House is light and airy with gas central heating, double height lounge, 2 shower rooms, dishwasher, Virgin WiFi, front & rear gardens and summerhouse (great for arts & craft). Pool billiard, table tennis, fire place, sauna and plunge pool, sun deck all shared at times. 5 mins walk to Fiveways, 8 mins to Lewes Rd Sainsbury’s and 10 mins to UoB. Free parking and good for public transport - buses and trains (London Rd or Moulsecoomb). Or cycle into town in 8 mins. Check postcode BN1 7EG.
We are mostly independent mid 20s, mixed genders & sexualities and look for the right guy to enjoy what we have. This is neither agency-led nor a student house or typical live-in landlord / family place but has more of an international cooperative feel. You should be friendly, curious, fun, hands-on and engaging to hang out with, organise the house, cook together occasionally (can be very social but quite quiet and no party house), chill in sauna with a beer or a glass of milk (or oat :) at the end or just watch the sunset. We can watch films and play cards or pool and ofc have BBQs or gala dinners like everyone else🙂 We are considerate, open-minded and respect each other’s and communal spaces, clean and tidy. LGBT friendly is key
£500 rent and £90 council tax, bills, wifi, etc. so £590 all-in - we hope we can save and stay at that level of bills. Deposit required (5 weeks). WFH a day or two only as we don’t want to turn our home into a 9-5 office block and prefer good music over being quiet for business calls. No couples and no pets to move in sorry, and as we offer and want an affordable, stable home you’d need to commit to at least half a year!
