Updated pix! Double Room In Sunny House w Garden

Hi there! I am letting a furnished double room in a warm and sunny house. The room overlooks the fantastic garden and has a double bed, wardrobe, cupboard, shelves and a chest of drawers. There's a desk and chair if required for working from home and I can be flexible about the room set up. It was redecorated last summer, along with the rest of the house.

Upstairs there are 2 other bedrooms (one is my office) and a shared bathroom. Downstairs is a communal open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living room space has large bay windows, while patio doors lead off the dining area out to the back garden, which is tiered, with patios, lawns and a deck. It is peaceful and sunny and is a lovely space to enjoy birds and flowers and nature.

The washing machine, fridge freezer and combi oven are all good quality appliances purchased in the last few years.

The house is located between Ditchling and Lewes Roads with easy access into town by bus, bike or walking. There's free on street parking and safe bike storage, local shops are at the end of the road and Fiveways is close by, as are Sainsburys and Aldi.

I am a warm and friendly Irish 44 year old, working in the public sector. I work from home and from an office locally and travel for work/pleasure fairly regularly. I'm also a trustee of a local women's charity. At the weekends I love spending time outdoors, in the garden or off on my bike, and out with friends for dinner, wine and the odd techno night. I've a strong interest in politics, feminism and social change, along with arts and culture more generally.

As I'm generally quite an outgoing, positive and active person, I'd like a housemate with a similar approach to life.
